A Casual Night Out Makeup + Full Look

A Casual Night Out Makeup
A Casual Night Out Makeup
I love a good night out! Sometimes I´m very motivated to get dressed, do my hair and a full face makeup, but sometmes I prefer to do a more casual look. Don´t get me wrong, it definitely contains more products than my everyday makeup, but I surely won´t attract attention to me, because of the way I put myself together that night.
I hope you get what I mean, haha, and enjoy this little makeup edit...

As always I used the Benefit The POREfessional Primer to prep my skin and give myself a smooth complexion to work with. Over that I used a sample of the Burberry Fresh Glow Liquid Base, just to give my skin a bit of natural glow before I applied one of the highest coverage foundations I own on top, and that is the MAC Studio Fix. It is the very first foundation that I´m close to using fully up, I basically only have foundation for 4-5 applications left, that´s how much I love it. It covers literally every blemish, without drying your skin completely out. I wouldn´t recommend it, if you have dry skin as you will see spot where skin is flaking off, but if you have oily/combination skin, this is yours to try! Since mostly every blemish is now covered, I only use the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, an absolute favourite of mine. It is medium coverage and blends in absolutely lovely. To set the concealer and foundation I used the MAC MSF Powder, I literally use it every single day, as it´s pressed so finely that it keeps shine at bay, without being very visible. Now that I´m still pale, I use the NARS Laguna Bronzer, to not only bring a bit of life to my skin, but also give it a bit of a shape.
A Casual Night Out Eyemakeup
Moving to the eyes, the look above is the one I went to and to make it last the whole night I firstly prepeared my eyelids with the UD Original Eyeprimer Potion, to those who suffer with oily eyelids, and creasing eyeshadow, this one will change your eyemakeup game! Then I stayed loyal to Urban Decay for nearly the whole rest, all my eyeshadows were from the Naked 2 Palette. Tease in the crease, Snakebite also in the crease but applied with a smaller denser brush, and then Copper all over the lid. It was pretty much a smokey brown look, and I really liked it!. Then to open my small eyes again, I put the NYX WonderPencil on my lower lashline. It´s a creamy nude pencil, which is just perfect for applying that way, as when you have small eyes like I, this pencil helps to make the whole look softer and your eyes bigger. To finish up the eyes, I used the L´Oreal Telescopic Mascara, by far my favourite mascara, and the Smashbox BrowTech To-Go to achieve defined sharp brows. To make sure everything stays in place the whole night, I spray the NYX Matte Finish Fixing Spray on and I´m good to go... :)
I left lipstick away on purpose, cause to be honest there´s nothing worse than having to worry about the state of your lipstick, when you just want to enjoy a few drinks with your friends.

Fresher Me Mud Mask Review*

*Post contains PR sample
FresherMe Mud Mask
The skincare product I love to use the most are face masks.
There are endlessly different ones on the market, all with a different purpose, on a huge price range, several ingredients, smells and looks. I have tried myself to a few ones, and one kind of face mask has caught my attention in particular. Charcoal/Mud Masks.
I was recently informed by a, for me, unknown brand called Fresher Me and I was offered to review their Mud Mask.

I was very curious as this face mask wasn´t particular made for cleaning your skin, but to nourish and moisturizer it, and since I´ve been suffering with the driest skin at the moment, I had high hopes that this mud mask could help me.

FresherMe Mud Mask
This mud mask consists of, natural Dead Sea Mud, Vitamin Pro 5b, Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Apricot Kernel and Aloe Vera. They all have the aim to fight blemishes, give your complexion enough hydration and revitalise it. Especially the Dead Sea Mud, the main ingredient, is supposed to actively pull toxins out of your skin while the Vitamin Pro 5b is there for pulling water out of the air to give you a look of instant refreshment.
I find it sounds really interesting, as I never heard of a mask that pulls something from your surrounding in advance for your skin!

When I opened the tub I was firstly suprised by the strong scent! To me it smelled like modelling clay and so I was scared that it´s not bearable to have it under my nose for 10 minutes straight. I was luckily wrong as the smell goes away completely once you´ve put it on your skin. Then I also thought the mask would be really heavy and creamy, like the Origins Charcoal Mask, but it´s nothing like that. The formular is really wet but not watery, like it´s a bit thicker than a moisturizer. When I applied it, it felt sooo comfortable and after a while I forgot that I even got it on.
On the product itself it stays that the mask doesn´t dry and stays wet, but I do find tha after a while it gets stiffer, but not weird at all, like you´re still able to move your face underneath, but you can also feel that something has happened to your skin.

To get it off without any problems, I have used a warm wash cloth.
Then after it was off I was left with soft, moisturized skin. Absolutely amazing, as I have definitely felt a difference. This product also promises an instant effect after the first use, I find the effect isn´t huge, but little blemishes have surely faded and my skin
wasn´t dehydrated anymore.

I would say the Fresher Me Mud Mask is worth a try, if you have dry skin with a few little blemishes like mine and could need something to treat yourself to :)

My Go-To Neutral Essie Shade

My Go-To Neutral Essie Shade
Ever since I got a gel manicure done, I barely bother with my nails, I got them done in a natural nude/pink shade and I honestly couldn´t be happier about it, as when it´s coming to looking after my nails, I have a patience of a few days and than my nails look absolutely horrible again. So I never really enjoyed wearing nail polish during that time.
But there is one brand, and one specific shade that wakes the motivation in me.

That one brand, that has really stolen my is Essie, we all know it and we all love it. They have a huge colour selection, two different formulas to choose from, amazing quality and totally worth the price of 8€ per bottle. If I´m in the mood to get a new nail polish, the Essie Counter is definitely the way I´ll head to.

Right now, my absolute favourite shade, and the one that´s just perfect for all year round
is Demure Vix
At first it seems like it´s a classic dusty rose shade, but you are totally wrong with that thought, as this nail polish has a metallic sheen to it. In the sun it reflects in a kinda blue metal shine, which is a lot more visible in the bottle, but still kinda there once you paint it on your nails.

My lazy self just loves this shade also because when it´s getting off, you can barely notice a difference from your actual nail to this nail polish, so don´t worry if it´s flaking off, no one´s gonna notice immediatly, haha.

I´ve just put it on again, and I´m soooo in love! I need two layers to get the full pigmentation and so far it has lasted on my nails for up to 5 days, just amazing!

What is your go-to nail polish? And which brand do you prefer?

Flatlay Props

Flatlay Props
My absolute favourite part of the whole blogging process is taking pictures.
I have found myself getting more and more creative, in my camera settings, in the things and in the way how I arrange the items I want to photograph, and also what I want to use as "space fillers" or "props" in my flatlay. If you ask me, I find there´s noting worse than a picture that just looks kinda empty. I like it when it´s filled, but not too much so it
doesn´t irritate you. At the end it just needs to be aesthetically pleasing, hahaha.
To achieve that kind of effect, I have collected a few things over the last time that you may have seen in my previous pictures, and here they are...

LAYERS

Layers as in scarfs, wooden boards, blankets, notebooks, etc. make such a difference in how the picture looks and simply fills up space that might look naked otherwise and also helps you to guide the attention to certain products you want to show off. I got this baby pink scarf from Reserved some time ago and since it´s too thin for me to actually wear I always use it in my pictures. I find it automatically adds a colour scheme to the picture and since I´m all about pink/rosé gold/copper for my pictures this scarf is just perfect.
I have some examples in these posts: scarf, wooden board, blanket

FLOWERS/PETALS

I´m an absolute sucker for using flowers or petals in pictures. I find it adds that certain girliness and lightness to the images. If you are lucky enough to have fresh flowers in your home most of the times then please do use them! You can definitely see if someone using fresh flowers or plastic ones, and I´m definitely jealous of those who use fresh ones, haha. I have to be honest though and say mine are fake ones, the white flowers are from Depot, and the petals are from the supermarket and were supposed to be used as dinner table decorations.

OTHER MAKEUP PRODUCTS/TOOLS

These are honestly my favourite flatlay props, as I literally have sooooo many of them and I´m able to use them in sooo many ways. I generally always stick to my rosé golden lash curler and kabuki brush, as they fit so well with the pink scarf. Together with them I simply look through my makeup collection and see what I can find. The most popular items are mascaras (especially the Maybelline LashSensational), lipsticks, nail polishes, eyeshadows and false lashes.

HOME DECOR

Right after makeup, home decor is my 2nd favourite thing to purchase. Spending a lot of time strolling through Pinterest has definitely taken it´s toll on me, and if I could I would need hundreds of rooms to really buy every decorations that I have swon over because of Pinterest pictures, haha. So if I want to use home decor in my flatlays I simply look through my flat what we have and collect everything that seems like it might look good.
The best brands to buy these things from are Primark (the rosé golden basked and eyelash curler are from there), H&M & Zara Home, Urban Outfitters, Depot, etc.

What do you like to use in your flatlays? And from where do you get your inspirations for your photography?

Liquid Glow Givers

Liquid Glow Givers
Liquid Glow Givers
Summer is the season for everything glowy, and if you have followed my blog for a while now, you may have noticed some posts dedicated to that specific makeup look.
Now, I want to concentrate on "glow givers" that are either not makeup related products, but also one that can be used so versatile, that it will definitely not leave my makeup bag for a while now...

BENEFIT SUN BEAM HIGHLIGHTER

Lately this highlighter has become one of my absolute favourite products in my whole collection. Simply because the shade is just perfect for summer, a light hint of champagne glow with a bit of glitter in it, is so versatile to use. You can either mix it with your foundation, use it as it´s original purpose, as a highlighter or you can just apply a bit of it to your eyelids to give yourself a glowy glittery eyemakeup. I haven´t tried it yet, but after I get a nice tan on my holidays, I´ll even use this highlighter on my collarbones, as I imagine it will look absolutely stunning and flattering when you´re wearing a off-shoulder top. You will definitely see me wearing this product very often from now on...

NUXE HUILE PRODIGIEUSE OR

Speaking of flattering glowy collarbones, I have something here that is completely new to me. It´s a dry oil that you can use literally everywhere, face, body and even in your hair.
I haven´t tried anything with this product yet, but after swatching it once, and seeing how pigmented yet still natural it is, and how interesting a dry oil is, I have done some research. Well all you do is massage this oil into the wanted body parts and when you move into the light, little golden glitter particles will make your skin all glowy.
I find this concept really cool and I feel like it will get used a lot during my summer holiday.

CLARINS HUILE LOTUS FACE TREATMENT OIL

Before we even start with putting tons of highlighters on our faces, we need to start preping and hydrating our skin so we already have a radiant base to work with.
I´m already on my second bottle of this Face Treatment Oil from Clarins, even though I don´t use it in my daily evening routine. This facial oil is really thick and you only need half of the pipette to get a good amount of product, I simply put this on at night when my skin is nearly spot free and only needs a minimum hydration and wake up to a lovely glowy base. An extra to this product is the smell, it smells of citrus fruits and lotus and so it´s just perfect for summer!

What do you use to get that natural glow?

A Spa Night At Home

A Spa Night At Home
It´s Friday and so tonight is finally the time to sit back and treat yourself to a littel "diy" Spa Experience at home, maybe enjoy a glass of wine with it, but the most important part is to do something good to your skin and hair. After styling my hair and putting makeup on every single day, they both definitely need a rest and need to be taken care of and so that´s what I like to do, using the following products...

HAIR

I have already done a complete post, where I show which hair care products are the best for thick damaged hair (here), but one product I haven´t included in there was the Moroccanoil Treatment, simply because I don´t use this product on a weekly basis, but rather when I want to treat myself, like tonight. I was always curious about this brand in general and so when I received this product in my advent calender I was overly excited to try it out myself. It´s a very thick oily, which puts a lot of hydration, boosts shine, speeds up drying time and detangles hair. It smells really lovely, and I definitely feel an effect of healthy hair after one use.

A Spa Night At Home

SKIN

Taking care of my skin is getting more and more fun for me as I finally found products that actually help me and make my skin a beautiful bump-free complexion.
On the weekends I unpack a few products that are stronger than the products I use during the week. Apart from my favourite cream cleanser at the moment, the L´Oreal Fine Flowers Cleansing Milk. I use it to take my makeup off, not eyemakeup only products like foundation etc., and it leaves my skin feeling soft, hydrated and really clean.
It contains ingredients like Rose and Jasmine Flowers, which gives it it´s lovely smell.
Multi-masking is a hit that is for once very useful, as you concentrate on the different problems of your skin directly, instead of using one mask that maybe only helps with a few little blemishes. I have recently found this L´Oreal Multi-Masking Starter Set. It contains all three of their Pure-Clay Face Masks, Charcoal, Red Algea and Eucalyputs. On the back of this set there is a short description on where to put which masks in combination of different purposes, such as stressful week, night-out, etc. I think this idea is really cute, as I was clueless in multi-masking and this set has definitely helped me a lot and is just awesome!
After washing the masks off, I like to give my skin the last polish it needs in form of exfoliating. For that I use the Mini Version of the Foreo Luna Face Scrub Brush for Combination Skin & Night Cleanser. Again I got this in my Advent Calendar and use it every now and then when my skin needs a good exfoliating session. This brush vibrates and so gives your skin a deep cleanse and anti-aging effect. Together with the Night Cleanser it removes dead skin cells and those tiny bumps that sometimes form on your forehead.
After my skin and hair is now completely clean and taken care off I can drift off to a good night sleep.

How do you like to treat yourself? What belongs in your spa night?

Eyeshadow Palettes Round-Up

Eyeshadow Palettes Round-Up
If you ask me, eyeshadow palettes are one of the best inventions that have ever been made. You simply get a huge selection of different eyeshadow shades, finishes, textures, etc. put into one handy little package.
I´m pretty sure there is an eyeshadow palette for every single person, another reason why I love them, their enormous versatile! I don´t want to ramble too much now though but rather show you the eyeshadow palettes that I hoard in my collection...

Catrice Absolute Nude (5€)

I´ll just start off with the cheapest and smallest palette I own.
It´s a drugstore one that holds 6 nude/brown shades, all with a bit off glitter and just the right amount of pigmentation, when you´re just starting to experiment with makeup. It was actually my very first eyeshadow product and I still love it! The texture of them is pretty soft, but buildable. You can wear them really natural on a daily basis or go smokier for a night time look.

NYX Love in Paris in "Merci Beaucoup" (8€)

This is honestly the ultimate autumn eyeshadow palette! Like look at those shades, a beautiful compilation of earth toned shades. I haven´t used this palette in ages, but I definitely need to do again, by the look of it now... The pigmentation is again quite fair, but totally alright, if you look at the fact that it´s a drugstore product. You get 9 gorgeous shades and so I definitely need to start experimenting with it again.
Eyeshadow Palettes Round-Up

Urban Decay Naked 2 (50€)

If this palette isn´t the absolute dream for every nude lover, I don´t know what is.
This one is the palette I always seem to go back to, as it´s so versatile. I like to use it in the winter as a more bronzed darker eyelook or even in the summer with just a bit of shimmer on my eyelid. I absolutely love that this palette offers a bit of everything, matte, shimmer, nude, rosé, dark, and even a green eyeshadow shade, all highly pigmented and ultra soft, it´s just amazing!
It´s also the one palette I always seem to take with me on holidays as you can close it securely, you have a huge mirror in it, a really good brush and it´s so handy that you can just squeeze it to the side of your suitcase.
If you don´t own any of the Naked Palettes, you are totally missing out!

Illamasqua Eyeshadow Quad

I don´t know the actual name of this palette, as it was a special edition one that I got from my Look Fantastic Advent Calendar, but I was definitely really excited to finally be able to try something form Illamasqua.
This palette already looks really luxurious from the packaging, a simple handy black case, with a small mirror inside and a quad of small eyeshadows.
I find the shades remind me again of autumn/winter, as they are really dark earth toned, and kinda resemble a forest, with the bit of green and red.
The shades are not really my alley, apart from the white/beige shade as beige or that gorgeous brown shade. I definitely have to try around to work with the green, but we´ll see how far I can go with the red shade, haha.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance (40€)

The best for the last. This palette is loved by literally everyone I know.
The perfection starts at the packaging, a velvety lilac thin top and a plastic very light, bottom makes the palette really handy. But then we get to the inside of the most gorgeous palette that exists! The shades are a mixture of nude shade and bright pink, orange shades. I was always scared to use colourful eyeshadows but this palette makes experimenting so much fun, even though the shadows are highly pigmented, so you definitely need to be careful, but once you get the hang of it, it´s so much fun!
I love to use the matte shades in the crease and the glitter shades on my lid, I´m really impressed by how much glitter actually gets transfered onto your lid.

How many eyeshadow palettes do you own? What are your favourites? And which ones do you want to get next?

Bronzed Glowy Summer Goddess

Bronzed Glowy Summer Goddess
Bronzed Glowy Summer Goddess
Summer is generally a time, where I´m most likely to wear barely any makeup. One look though, would always make me to put on the extra effort to look presentabel, the bronzy glowy look. I absolutely love this look. You look like you´ve just come back from a tropical holiday, completely relaxed, perfectly tanned and a natural glow to top it off.
I couldn´t imagine a better look for the summer time, honestly.
I´ve searched together the products that help me to achieve exactly that look without a lot of time effort...Summer is generally a time, where I´m most likely to wear barely any makeup.
I´ve searched together the products that help me to achieve exactly that look without a lot of time effort...

So to start, I want a primer that already gives me a healthy glow and also hydrates my skin so it doesn´t dry out under the makeup, I put on afterwards, the MonuSkin Illumination Primer gives me exactly what I aim for. It´s quite thick, almost like a proper moisturizer, but sinks in fairly fast and leaves a slight stickiness on my face, which is perfect to keep the foundation in place.
Speaking of foundation, I have two that are full on glow.
The first one is the The Body Shop All In One BB Cream, it´s a very watery white liquid that transforms into it´s actually colour once you´ve blended it in. It gives a really strong healthy glow because of it´s watery texture, but still gives you that coverage that you might need. The next foundation is the L´Oreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation, I can´t even describe how much I love this foundation. It is really light and feels feather light on the skin. Once you´ve blended it in with a makeup sponge, you´ll notice that
you´re skin already looks a lot more even, without looking like you´ve actually put makeup on. I also love this foundation, because even at the end of the day, your skin doesn´t look oily, but still really naturally glowy. Once you tried this foundation, I guarantee you, you don´t want to use anything else ever again!
Bronzed Glowy Summer Goddess
Now that we´ve got the glowy base done, we can continue onto the bronzy part.
My absolute favourite bronzer at the moment, which I use literally every single day since getting it, is the NARS Laguna Bronzer. It is pure perfection.
The shade of it, is kinda warmed toned, I would even say a slight caramel shade with tiny glitter particles in it, which aren´t visible once you apply it, though. I apply this bronzer to my cheekbones, temples and forehead and my head already looks more in shape and my skin more alive, haha.
Bronzed Glowy Summer Goddess Swatches
You can never ever have too much glow, so to make it even stronger, we will add some more highlighter!
If you´re more a fan of liquid highlighters, than the Benefit Sun Beam is just perfect for you during the summer! It´s a golden, bronzey, highly pigmented liquid that contains a few golden glitter particels and once you have blended it in, preferably with a sponge, it leaves the most natural sun-tanned glow on your skin! It even looks gorgeous when you´re pale, so don´t let that hold you back from purchasing it!
If you prefer creams and powder highlighter, you should rather go for the Sleek Precious Metals Highlighter Palette. This palette contains four stunning highlighters, starting from a really vibrant white one and going to a really brown one. You could even use this palette on your eyes to add even more glow to your look.

How do you achieve the bronzy glowy summer look?

Bright Pink Lips

Bright Pink Lips
As much as I love a nude lip, I try to reach for bold lipsticks more often in the summer time. I like to bring a switch into my seasonal looks and a bright pink lip together with tanned skin is my favourite look in the summer, even though the tanned skin part does take me a whole lot longer, haha.
Nevertheless I´ve searched 5 pink lipsticks together, in which some are more natural and some are really bright!

MAC`s Angel

This lipstick is more on the natural pink side. It´s from the Satin Finish Collection and has a beautiful slightly glittery, sheer finish. The colour is a beautiful deep pink shade, that fits to literally every makeup look. It feels very comfortable on the lips and stays put for a long time! I love to wear this lipstick during the week to work when I don´t wear that much makeup and just want a hint of colour...

MAC`s Créme Cup

Another natural lipstick is this one from MAC. Compared to the shade Angel, Créme Cup is a whole lot lighter and reminds me of a more barbie pink shade. It also contains a lot more glitter. I find it´s one of those lipsticks that fits a lot better with pale skin, as with tanned skin I think it would make your lips stand out a lot and that would probably look unnatural, so embrace this lipstick as long as you´re still pale, haha.

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Pencil

By far my favourite pink lip option at the moment is this lip pencil!
I absolutely love the dark dusty rose of it, and even though it´s a natural shade it´s still very pigmented and I would definitely call it a bright summer option. Apart from the shade, it is also lovely to apply, as the texture of the pencil is really soft and velvet-y. It stays on my lip for such a long time without wearing off, not even a bit. Because of that it has also quickly become my go-to product for a night out as I don´t have to worry about re-applying it any time soon.
Bright Pink Lips Swatches

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Tokyo

If this shade doesn´t straight off remind you of Barbie, I don´t know what will, haha!
It´s as you can see, a bright light pink shade, with a comfortable matte finish.
I have raved about the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams so often already that I´ll keep it short now. They are pretty much really comfortable to wear, are really pigmented and stay in place for a few hours. They do need a touch up quite often but one swipe is enough to get the full pigmentation back.

NYX SMLC in San Paulo

This one has been the very first lip product I have purchased from NYX.
It is the perfect summer shade for me, as it´s bright and with a mixture of coral/red/pink shades it´s the ultimate holidays lipstick for tanned skin. I simply love these NYX Liquid Lip products as they glide on so easily, are really handy to take everywhere with you and feel so comfortable on your lips even though they dry to a matte finish.

NYX SMLC in Prague

My latest addition is this one in the shade Prague. It is probably the brightest lipstick shade I own, and it does take a bit of confidence to wear it, but be honest, in the summer you are a lot braver than in the winter time so go on and pull a bright lip off!
This shade is a purple/magenta shade that is pretty much vibrant and would absolutely amazing with an full white outfit!

What is your favourite bright pink lip product? Do you prefer a nude or bright lip in the summer time?

How You Can Easily Support your Favourite Bloggers

Blogging Community
The Blogger Community is steadily growing, means it´s getting harder to stand out of the huge mass of other amazing bloggers. The only way to grow is to being supported by your readers, so if you are one of them, I wrote together some really quick and easy tips on how you can support your favourite bloggers...

Love on Bloglovin

This one is definitely the easiest and fastes option to support a blogger you like.
I try to do it as often as possible, actually always after I read a post I press the heart button. It´s such a small gesture, but actually helps so much, as the post will pop up in other feeds and so spreads the post to many more readers.
I can only speak from my persepctive, but I feel so appreciated when someone "loves" my post :)

Retweet on Twitter

Again a really simple thing to do.
We all promote our posts on social media, especially Twitter as it reaches the most people on there, so if you see that your favourite blogger has shared their post, hit retweet and share with your followers what you´re loving to read.
It doesn´t matter how many followers you have, so please don´t feel like it doesn´t matter if you don´t retweet. A few more readers on a blog is always lovely!

Comment on Instagram

If you haven´t noticed yet, Instagram has changed it´s algorithm a long time ago and so doesn´t show pictures in their chronical order but just randomly. Doesn´t sound too bad yet, but the problem is that some posts just get lost and that is just horrible for every blogger. I, personally, don´t always have a problem but I see bigger bloggers who get barely any likes which is sad cause that way we will get tired of Instagram and use it less and less. Well the point is though, comment on your favourites posts! We barely get any engagement so even a short, lovely picture, is already really appreciated and makes Instagram atleast a bit fun, haha.

Use affiliate Links

This tip is mostly important for those bloggers who earn their money out of their blog.
But first what are affiliate links? Well if you scroll up a bit you will see my wishlist slider, and if you press on a product in there, you´ll be directed to an online shop and I´ll get a small amount of money from that, if you purchase something through the link, I´ll get more money and so on. So if you see either a wishlist, or a little advert on a blog, a simple click on it is enough to already help a lot!

How do you support your favourite bloggers?

Sephora Munich Wishlist

Sephora Deutschland München
Last Thursday Sephora has opened its first shop in Germany, and I couldn´t be happier that they decided to do so in Munich!
It´s weird to think than not a very long time ago we barely had any bigger american brands available, and now we got the full selection of amazing brands such as Too Faced, Kat von D, MUFE, etc. So far I didn´t have a chance to pop in the store but next Saturday it´s time for me to explore the beauty of Sephora. Of course I´ve put together a "small" wishlist that I´ll slowly work through without doing much damage to my bank balance (hopefully).

I absolutely love foundations, primers, concealer, powder, etc. basically everything base products. If your base is not made perfect, you won´t really be happy with how the rest of your makeup looks and so I like to experiment around with different finishes, textures, and effects.
For primers I have chosen the Becca Backlight Primer after getting it recommended from Lily (pintsizedbeauty), it´s supposed to give you a really lovely glow and I absolutely love that! Then also the Marc Jacobs Under(cover) Perfecting Primer, it smells like coconut and smoothes & hydrates your skin, perfect! And for last I also want the Too Faced Hangover Primer, simply because I only heard good things about it, haha.

For Foundation and Concealer I chose the Kat von D Lock-It Foundation and Concealer, they´re both full coverage and as much as I love light bases, sometimes a full coverage base is all I want and from what I have seen so far, those two products are unbelievable pigmented! I want to have the MUFE HD Foundation, purely out of curiousity if it´s really so finely produced that you look airbrushed even on pictures.

For setting I´ve been on the hunt for a good loose powder and so I think the Kat von D Lock-It Setting Powder, sounds with its Micro-Blurring Technology really lovely. I absolutey love my NYX Setting Spray, but since the Too Faced Hangover Primer is already so loved, I think the Hangover Setting Spray is definitely worth a try aswell!

Who doesn´t love a good highlighter? I don´t think I have to say a lot about these picks in my wishlist as they all have the same purposes, giving my skin a lovely natural glow!
The Huda Beauty 3D Highlighter Palette, has been all over Instagram since it´s release and I loooove how it looks! You get four completely different highlighters to decide from.
I´m not too sure about the Marc Jacobs Glow Stick, but I´ll definitely swatch it in store and decide from there, what makes it curious for me is it shape as I think it´s really quick to apply it. I´ve been wanting to get the Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Peach Highligher Palette, since I was in London but it wasn´t available so now no one can stop me, haha!
Almost everyone owns one of the BECCA Shimmering Highlighters, they are straight off perfect and I want one, haha.

Of course I couldn´t miss out on the lip section, the four I have choosen have again been on my Instagram feed for ages now and I love how they all look, highly pigmented, long staying power and a huge colour selection. I´m not too sure which colours I´ll get but there´s enough space on the back of my end to swatch quite a few, haha.
The Too Faced Melted Lipstick, Kat von D Everlasting Lipstick & Huda Beauty Matte Lipsticks are all matte liquid lipsticks and that kind of lip product are my favourites so I definitely need them! The Too Faced Creamy Peach Oil Lipgloss is definitely a nice addition to my collection for the summer time, as I don´t own a lot of (peach smelling) lipgloss.

Now, of course I can´t miss out on new beauty tools aswell. I´ve been on the hunt for blotting paper for a long time now and I hope this one, from the Sephora Collection is good! Then what really caught my attention was the Makeup Eraser, it´s a towel that is supposed to take your makeup off only with water! Like I really want to see if it works cause I imagine it would be really good for your skin in terms of dehydration from certain makeup removers. Also I´m in need of a brush for Highlighter and the Too Faced Mr. Right Brush, seems just perfect for that. It looks really cute and also has the right shape for highlighter application. For the last product on my wishlist I chose this pair of false lashes from Huda Beauty, their Mink Lashes to be exact I know I said in my Monday´s post I would ditch false lashes, but this pair looks to die for! The preview on their packaging looks absolutely gorgeous and I can only image how stunning they would look when used on a full makeup look!

Most Used Beauty Tools

Most Used Beauty Tools1
To really make a look perfect, you do not only need makeup that works for you and a bit of skill, but also the right tools to apply your makeup with and add perfection wherever it is needed.
There are probably over hundred of different tools and brushes on the market but the following 4 really have caught my eyes and really makes doing my makeup a lot more fun.

Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Palette

Cleaning your brushes is probably the most annoying part ever! It needs to be done though, in order to keep your brushes in a good condition and also your skin will benefit from that! This Brush Cleansing Palette from Real Techniques makes this task atleast a bit better and also really fast done! It is made out of silicone and has a band on the backside to slip your hand through and have a good hold on the palette.
Inside the palette are three different surfaces, I pretty much put a bit of water into the palette, a drop of baby shampoo and swirl my brushes over all 3 surfaces.
This way I´m sure every brush gets a deep clean.

Eyebrow Spool Brush

You can´t really start doing your brows before brushing them through.
I think most of us use this tool everyday and we forget how "important" it is in our everyday makeup routine and so I really had to mention it in this post.
I brush mine downwards fill them in, brush upward fill them in, and after I´m completely done I also brush them in the right direction.
If I have a bad brow day, this tool is basically the last hope I have to make them atleast a bit presentable, haha.

Sephora Tweezer

As much as I love getting my brows done professionaly, I simply don´t have the money and time to head there every 2 weeks when the hair around my brows starts to grow again.
So I have to pluck them as good as possible myself and that can be quite hard if the lighting isn´t good enough to make every little hair visible. Well with this tweezer this problem solved itself. It has a little light in it which you can switch on and point directly onto the hairs you need to pluck.
One of the best inventions by far!

Real Techniques Core Collection

I have quite a huge brush collection, but this brush collection is by far the most used one I own. They are just amazing, so soft, you can use all four brushes for various purposes and they´re also really quick and easy to clean in case you need to switch the product you want to use it for. I use the Buffer Brush for blending in foundation, concealer and correcting the amount of blush or bronzer I´ve put on. The Contour Brush is being used to blend in concealer, set it, and apply highlighter. And lastly I use Pointed Foundation Brush and Detailer Brush for correcting any fall-outs or places where my foundation has moved.

3 To Try From Origins

3 To Try From Origins
There´s something so pleasing in finding skincare products that actually work well for your skin. Origins is one of those brands that I know work for me and so I have put together a little collection of products that are definitely worth a try and which I really use on a daily to weekly basis.

GinZing Energy-Boosting Moisturizer

This little pot of delicious orange smell godness is my morning moisturizer and definitely something for one who likes watery creams.
It is a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer that instanty hydrates your skin and give it a beautiful natural glow. It contains ingredients like Coffee Beans, Lemon, Grapefruit, Orange and Sparemint Oil which gives it, it´s absolutely pleasing fresh smell.
I find this product sinks in really fast and so I´m ready to continue with my makeup in an instant without having to worry about dry skin underneath. You really only need a tiny bit as, because of it´s watery texture, it´s really easy to spread all over your face.

Clear Improvement Face Mask

This face mask has been my very first product I got from Origins. Back in the days when the black charcoal masks where hyped on the internet, I wanted to try one myself and got luckily this one as a present for Christmas.
It´s as you can see a mask made out of Bamboo Charcoal, which acts like a magnet to clear your pores, and White China Clay, to absorb environmental toxins. It´s said to be used 1-2 times per week and so I do, I cleanse my face before applying it and then simply rub a fair amount all over my face, leaving it on until it has completely dried down (no worry you´ll notice when you can´t move your face, haha) and then I wash it off with a warm wash cloth. My skin feels abnormally soft and clean after using it. After a longer time period you can definitely also see a difference in your skin.
The only thing that is kinda weird but is probably because of the amount of charcoal in it, is that this masks smells a lot like play-dooh clay, it is bearable but I just wanted to mention it, haha.

Drink-Up Intensive Face Mask

On days where my skin is drier than the Sahara, this mask is my only rescue.
It is a rich, hydrating overnight masks that includes things like Avocado and Apricot Kernel Oils and also Japanese Seaweed that helps repair skin barrier´s to prevent future dehydration and signs of premature ageing.
I was never really interested in overnight creams, as I thought they would feel really heavy and leave my skin like an oily mess, oh I was soo wrong!
This masks sinks in quite fast, like you can still feel it when you lay in bed, but it feels rather nice and cooling than heavy, and in the morning I wash the leftovers off and my skin feels sooo hydrated, plum, glowy and just sooo lovely :)
Apart from that this product also smells like those mask they use on your wellness trips. Very soothing, cosy and fresh.
