I mentioned it a lot of times before but I love a dramatic "false lashes"-finish, so a good mixture between length and volume but a bit more volume. Some of you might´ve read my post "The False Lashes Look" where I´ve mentioned how much I love the Dior Diorshow Pump´n´Volume Mascara - well I wanted to repurchase it but accidentally got this Dior Diorshow Mascara.
Well that´s definitely a different way to try out new products, haha. Luckily I´m not dissapointed in my wrong order at all, this mascara is just as lovely as the other one but more for the natual look!
Consistency
The first thing I´ve noticed when opening the tube is the heavy perfume scent this mascara has. It smells really good and flowery but I could imagine that it is a problem for girls with sensitive eyes. For me it´s totally fine though and so it kinda shows what a luxury product it is, I don´t know but it kinda gives me the feeling of luxury cause I never had a makeup product that smelled that good!
The consistency itself is really nice to apply, it´s not as sticky and wet as the cheaper mascaras so you get a voluminous look right from the start. It´s really the perfect mascara for everyday as after the first layer you get a really natural look with a bit of volume and nicely separated lashes and with the second layer it gets a bit more dramatic without looking too much!
Once the mascara is dried down it doesn´t budge or crumble, I find it´s the worst thing ever when you have black spots or smudges under your eyes, which happens normally quite often as I´m someone who gets watery eyes really fast when I´m laughing for example. As it holds onto your lashes that well, it takes a bit longer to remove it aswell. I use a oil-infused micellar water and wet my lashes with it a bit before rubbing the cotton pad all over to get it off and even then I need a bit patience haha. My lashes still feel very soft though when wearing the mascara so it´s all good and comfortable.
So even though I bought this mascara more or less by accident, I really enjoy using it!
It´s something you can treat yourself to, if you are someone who likes a bit of luxury in your daily makeup routine. I love the finish, the feeling while wearing it - like it not drying my eyes or making them itchy - and of course that it´s smells so good like a flowery feminine perfume!

The Brush
I love these kind of mascara brushes. They just give you the perfect amount of volume and length and still separates your lashes. With that kind it´s also really easy to built the effect and amount on your lahses. The mascara itself doesn´t stick or gets clumpy on this brush aswell which I find is also really important when applying it to your bottom lashes - nothing is worse than wet clumpy bottom lashes.
The Finish
On the picture below you can see what the finish looks like after two layers - layers as in applying mascara once waiting a bit for it to dry and then apply another layer. For my liking one layer is "too natural" I´m more the type to put the main focus on my eyes and that´s definitely possible with this mascara. As you can see pretty well here aswell is that with the brush my lashes are beautifully separated but not too much "spider lashes", they still cling together at the roots which gives you an effect of a bit extra volume without looking clumpy.
So even though I bought this mascara more or less by accident, I really enjoy using it!

Whether it's an elegant evening look or a simple day makeup, a pretty matching lipstick completes the look, that's definitely the case for me.
I would say that I have a relatively large selection of lipsticks, from nude to bright, everything is there.
Unfortunately, most lipsticks do not withstand everyday life, be it through eating or drinking or through normal removal over time, so these are the reasons why I like to apply lipsticks in the morning, but do not refresh them later on. It's just too exhausting for me to always have to pay attention and check if it still looks good.
Until now!
Through the dear anajohnson on Instagram, I have become aware of the absolute miracle product - the Artdeco Magic Fix.
It's really awesome!
It's really awesome!
The Artdeco Magic Fix is supposed to make the lipstick waterproof, and therefore prevent it from staining cups, glasses, etc. and also from leaking into the lip wrinkles.
It contains bergamot and lavender oils to give the lips some care aswell.

From the texture, it looks like water, and that's exactly how it is applied to the lips. With the small brush you brush over your lips and Tada the lipstick holds bombproof.
I have to say honestly, although there are actually good smelling oils in this product, it smells like nail polish remover to me, but don't worry, it will sink in really fast, so you don't smell or taste or even notice that you have something on your lips.

I was really excited before first applying it as to whether it really does what it promises and it definitely does.
I´ve put it to the absolute hardness test, I was eating greek food, means tasty salad with oil dressing, garlic bread and of course greasy food BUT the lipstick kept looking fresh and flawless after eating.
I was positively impressed and since then I use the Magic Fix without exception every time I wear lipstick!

I even get the question again and again which lipstick I use because it does not wear out and always looks fresh!
The only negative point, which has passed in the meantime, is the feeling during application.
My lips burned like fire the first time, so really as if I had put nail polish remover on it! According to the official product description, it is probably due to the alcohol that is in this product and it is probably a natural reaction, nevertheless, it was really very unpleasant, but meanwhile 5 applications have passed and I do not feel burning and pinching any more - no worries my lips were also very good after the first time - visually and feeling hahaha.

The Magic Fix is unfortunately nothing for gloss or creamy lip products.
But I didn't have any problems so far, no matter if with a matt lipstick or with the Hydra Care lipstick from Artdeco, which is more creamy, the Magic Fix helped to maintain the durability. I haven't tried the combination with a gloss yet, but I could imagine that it would be a mess, and the brush of the Magic Fix would mix the gloss with the product itself - which wouldn't be so ideal now...

With a price of 13€ it is perfectly ok, since you really do not need much per application and therefore also the 5ml bottle will definitely last you for a long time.
From my opinion it is totally worth buying the Artdeco Magic Fix. I enjoy wearing lipstick a lot more because I don't have to pay attention to what I do and what my lips look like. I am very happy with it and recommend it to everyone I know and likes to wear lipstick!
Do you already know this product? What is your experience with it?

Long, voluminous, thick lashes are every girls dream, right?
I find whether you´re wearing eyeshadow or not, having a pretty pair of lashes on literally transforms the whole look to a completely new level!
Sure you could just use your favourite mascara to make your lashes look fabulous, but most of the time you don´t achieve the same finish when some of your lashes have fallen out or are just not as long and thick as you wish them to be.
Same happened to me. I do have quite long lashes - thanks to Revitalash - but sometimes I just have spare spaces that I wish would just dissapear.
After watching loads and loads of makeup tutorials, I thought I´d give false lashes a try myself.
The girls in the videos made the application always look soo easy but unfortunately I was struggling soo hard with them, and gave up on using false lashes shortly after... until NOW!
Ardell is using a new technology for their newest false lashes line - Magnetism.
They use really small - nearly invisible after appliying - magnet bullets. Together with all natural human hair as lashes, it will be hard to notice if you are blessed with these gorgeous lashes, or if you had a little help to look even more fab ;)
I got the chance to try the Magnetic Lashes out myself before they hit the shelves in - mark your calendar - May 2018!!
So not long to go now, yaaay.
So not long to go now, yaaay.
Ardell kindly sent me the pair "110 Double", which I find is the more natural version of their original Demi Wispies.
Included in a package are four lash strips which make up to 2 pair of lashes - you got two upper strips and two under strips. All four of the strips are pre-curved to make it a lot easier for you to fit them on your eyes.
Well now we come to the exciting part of this new release, as the name already says this new lashes line is simply applicated with magnets. So you no longer have to deal with buying new lash glue, getting the right amount on the lash strip, no more waiting until it´s dry, etc. all you do is stick both lashes together and off you go - sounds lovely right?
As you cann see every lash strip has a few magnet bullets attached to it.
I was at first a bit worried whether these magnets were strong enough to really stick together, if you can feel the magnets, also if they would kinda break my lashes while being they "stuck" between two magnets and most importantly if they keep the lashes in place throughout the day/night.
After putting them on for the first time though, I was positively suprised by how strong they stick together, yet feel totally comfortable. They don´t budge at all, I tried slightly pulling on them and they did move a bit but from themselve they don´t move at all!
Speaking of my first application, it was again a bit tricky to put them on, but a whole lot easier then normal falsies with a glue. Simply because if, e.g. they´re not close enough to your lash line you can just try again and again. With the glue I always got it stuck on my lashes and lid and messed my whole eyemakeup up - please tell me this has not only happened to me haha.
I did have to try around a bit until I found a way of applying them that was easy for me, but eventually I got the hang of it and loved them finish.
It´s not really visible that you kinda have two lash strips on one eye and also they feel just as lightweight as the normal falsies.

Application
To apply them the right way, you first apply a coat of mascara to your lashes.
Then you take a tweezer - preferably the Ardell Dual Lash Applicator - and hold the upper lash strip in place on top of your lashes as close to your lash line as possible.
Then you take the under lash strip and move it towards the other strip so that your actual lashes are right between them.
And Ta-Daa you´re done and good to go.
Be careful when you want to take them off though as to not pull out your own lashes...
I always grip them between two fingers and move them in different direction as to push the magnets apart. For storing you just put them back into their box and press the sides onto the sticky patches.
Just to make sure you have a curved lash strip for the next application.
When you´re planning to try them out yourself, take care of what size you pick as there are two.
The bigger size has 4 magnet bullets and the smaller size has only 3 bullets.
You´re not able to trim so you might want to decided on the size before buying them haha.
I got the smaller size with 3 bullets and they fit perfectly - I always had to cut off a good amount off the Demi Wispies.
They´ll cost around 14,99€ - sounds a bit expensive but you have to keep in mind that you can reuse them really often, so definitely worth the investion.
Of course Ardell doesn´t only offer the 110´s but there will be also Double Wispies, Double Demi Wispies, Accents 001 & 002. So there´s definitely a pair for everyone.
I feel like the Accents could be really interesting to try next for me!
End of the story is that I feel like this is one of the best beauty inventions ever!
It´s a great product whether for falsie beginners as you´ve got loads of trys without destroying them, but also for pros as it´s a fun thing to try out and might save you a lot of time during styling.
Especially now during the winter months - and with my heater on 24/7 - my skin suffers quite a lot from dryness. Not only does it make the progress and finish of applying makeup not really good-looking but it also can get painful. I often had patches - mostly on my forehead - that burned when I touched them and the only saviour that helps me instantly is the
Oskia Renaissance Face Mask.
This face mask is pure luxus, I never had a face mask that has helped me, hydrate my skin so quickly - and also smelled so incredibly.
Let´s start with the said incredible smell. It´s literally out of this world. It contains ingredients like Passion Fruit, Grape, Lemon, Grapefruit and Papaya, which gives the mask its unique and strong scent. While taking the pictures of this post, I accidentally left the pot open and my room smelled like the cream after a few minutes - not that I´m complaining, haha.
If anyone from Oskia is reading this post, I plead you to create a candle that smells exactly like this mask, I´ll give you all my money for it!
I also just read on the Oskia website that the testing panel for this mask found the scent so delicious they wanted to eat it, and I can completely agree with that. You need to smell it yourself to understand how incredible it is!
It´s definitely also a staple to have on your dressing table. I´m totally a fan of the simplicity, with the milk glass and the Oskia Logo on the lid.
Now to the actual product. It´s a gel-based face mask, that has a pinky colour in the tub, but after you have massaged it into your skin, it turns white and also thicker and creamier. Depending on your skin type, and how well it reacts to the cream, you can leave it on for up to 20 minutes. It feels really fresh and cooling on my skin and after a while of wearing it I barely notice it´s there. What I also love is that it´s so easy to take off again - I find there´s nothing worse than a face mask that you have to rub off.
I already mentioned that this product contains a lot of fruits, but also things like rose and chamomile.
So the purposes of this mask is to increase cell-turnover, boost radiance and give you a smoother and all over illuminating look. It definitely does exactly that. Immediately after washing the cream off, my skin feels a lot fresher, completely hydrated, glowy and kinda also plumper - in a good way obviously.
You really need only the tiniest amount, so I´m sure even this little pot will last me easily for another few months.
Sure with a price of 51 pounds, it´s not something you use every night and keep repurchasing, but it´s a perfect treat - either for yourself or as a present for someone else.
Have you tried Oskia Skincare before? And maybe even this mask already?
A red lip is one of the first makeup looks I come up with when I think of Valentines Day.
It´s definitely something I don´t wear everyday, but for this special occassion, I´ll unpack one of my newest and favourite red lipstick.
As you can see above, it´s not a classic red, but one of the Illamasqua Lava Lipsicks.
Their lava lipsticks are colour intense, and have a very unique marble design, that I´ve never seen before on any other lipsticks and was definitely very curious about.
At first I thought, it might still have streaks of different colours when you apply it, but no, all the shades mix together to a gorgeous red shade.
I got the lipstick in the shade Vixen, in the swatch below you can see that it´s not a bright red shade, but rather has a pink/rose undertone - perfect for my pale skin.
But not only is the lipstick itself absolutely stunning, but I´m also kinda into the packaging. It´s liked really simple, just completely black, and then you get that unique looking lipstick inside. Really cool!
I love this lipstick for so many reasons, not only is the shade absolutely stunning - in case you haven´t noticed yet, I like to repeat myself - but the texture is also soo lovely.
It glides on really smoothly, and is buildable. So it´s not one of those lipsticks that you have to be extra careful about, so you don´t smudge it - we all know how hard it is to correct red lipstick, right? - but you can be exacty with it and either get the full colour intensity or just a hint of red, whatever you prefer.
The finish is a soft satin, slightly matte finish, sits very comfortable on the lips and stays also on quite well. It does fades away during some time, but it´s definitely acceptable.
I really hope they´ll be in stock really soon again, as right now they are, understandable, completely sold out...

One brand that can´t be missing in my daily haircare routine is Davines, especially their Oi Range.
The products in this range all contain roucou-oil, which has a lot of amazing effects and gives the products their unique scent.
The roucou oil comes from a plant that grows in the amazons, it´s rich of bera-carotene and has a restructuring effect on the hair, helps with its growth, reduces cell damage by UV radiation, prevents aging and maintains skin elasticity so your hair looks more healthy, shiny and honestly feels sooo lovely soft.
I first got introduced to Davines at a Blogger Event last year, and I was definitely really curious to try out the products, as the man who introduced me to all the things was really good and convincing with what he had to say, haha. I received the Oi Shampoo and Oi All in One Milk to try out and this is what I thought of the products...
Oi Shampoo*
When I try a new shampoo, I always look for ones that give my scalp enough hydration - cause who wants a itchy scalp - and ideally also keep my hair looking fresh for up to 2-3 days. I´m just way too lazy to wash my hair everday and even though I really like using dry shampoo, it´s just not good for my hair on long terms.
This shampoo fills all my needs perfectly!
My hair feels lovely soft, looks smooth and ever since I´m using it, I have hardly any problems with a dry and flaky scalp anymore!
My hair feels lovely soft, looks smooth and ever since I´m using it, I have hardly any problems with a dry and flaky scalp anymore!
It´s texture is not really creamy - like my previous head & shoulder shampoo - but more watery, yet you really only need a tiny amount as once you work it in, it starts to get really foamy.
Coming back to the scent, in the bottle it´s really strong but you hardly smell it in your hair, it´s just a lovely smelling hint of the scent that gets left behind.
It is quite pricy but since you only need a small amount and it leaves your hair looking fresh for a longer time, it´s totally worth it, to treat you and your hair to it.

Oi All in One Milk*
The roucou oil is all in for giving your hair the extra hydration it sometimes needs.
So what I do with this milk, is spray it all over my hair before blow drying it, and it honestly makes such a huge difference!
My hair feels immediately softer, is easier to comb through, dries faster and has a lot less frizz than before.

You can either use it like me, as it also functions as heat protection - which I discovered just now, haha - or you use it on the go, for when your hair feels dry and needs a quick fresh up. Again, it has the same unique scent, which I absolutely love and got some compliments for aswell.
I´m sooo sad that I ran out of it already, so I´ll definitely get a new bottle as soon as possible.
Oi Oil
I also introduced my mum to the Davines products and together with the shampoo, she bought the Oi Oil aswell.
Of course, I´ve given it a try myself and it´s so good aswell - what a suprise, haha!
Until I get a replacement for the Milk Spray, I´ll be using this oil before blow drying my hair. The texture of it is not as thick as some other hair oils - e.g. the MoroccanOil - it sinks in really fast and also gives your hair a nice amount of hydration.
I haven´t tried it out that often yet, but I can see it becoming another hair favourite really soon.
The Oi range doesn´t only include these three products there are some others left, that I´m more than curious to try out myself!
Have you tried Davines products before? Which ones are your favourite or which ones would you want to try out?
You may have noticed that for a longer time now, there are cleansing cloths on the market that promise to take your makeup off - even waterproof mascara and oil-based makeup - just with the help of water! Ever since stumbling across them, I´ve been really curious to try them out myself.
I could never imagine how that would work out, as even with micellar water, I sometimes have to take 2-3 pads to really get everything off!
Well you can imagine, I was very happy and excited when I found the Magnitone Wipe Out Cleansing Cloth in my Advent Calendar - and now that I´ve tried it out for a few weeks, I can finally share my honest (and very good) opinion about it...

The Cloth itself
As you can see, it´s basicall a quite small square washing cloth in a lovely pink shade - point number one why I love it. It feels unbelievably soft, yet kinda thicker than a normal cloth, which is because of the microfibres.
Speaking of the fibres, once you put that cloth under warm water, they swell up and so can get a better hold of your makeup and remove it smear-free and really easy.
It has those microfibres on both sides, and can be used approximately up to 1000 times - which sounds definitely really good for my bank account and also is so eco friendly as you don´t have to throw away watt pads or makeup wipes everyday.
To clean this cloth I basically put normal soap on it, rub it in and then wash it off with water again, and to give it a really good clean, I just throw it into the washing machine, together with other towels once a week.
My Experience
As I said before I could never imagine that a full face makeup could be easily removed just with a cloth and some warm water. Well, it can - mostly.
What I do everday is, put that cloth under warm water, lightly squeeze a bit of water out again and then simply rub over my whole face with it.
From my own liking, I really do not like removing mascara with it as you have to do a lot of rubbing on your eyelashes to really get everything off, it does work but I just don´t like it. Same goes to my eyebrows, I have quite long, thick eyebrow hair so I´m never really sure if everything is off.
Removing base products though, is just a dream! It not even takes me a minute until I´m totally bare and - most importantly - my skin isn´t left with a tight dry feeling.
Whether you use matte foundation, cream contour, a lot of setting powder or waterproof lipstick, it all get´s removed really easily

Ever since using the cleansing cloth, I have also noticed that my skin doesn´t get blemishes as often and just overall feels a lot softer.
I´m pleasantly suprised with how good it works!
You´re not only doing something good for your skin but also for the nature, as my watt pad use has decreased by a lot.
You get in the normal package two cleansing cloths for only 17€ / 15 Pound, a fair price and definitely worth to try out :)

The skincare product I love to use the most are face masks.
There are endlessly different ones on the market, all with a different purpose, on a huge price range, several ingredients, smells and looks. I have tried myself to a few ones, and one kind of face mask has caught my attention in particular. Charcoal/Mud Masks.
I was recently informed by a, for me, unknown brand called Fresher Me and I was offered to review their Mud Mask.
I was very curious as this face mask wasn´t particular made for cleaning your skin, but to nourish and moisturizer it, and since I´ve been suffering with the driest skin at the moment, I had high hopes that this mud mask could help me.
This mud mask consists of, natural Dead Sea Mud, Vitamin Pro 5b, Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Apricot Kernel and Aloe Vera. They all have the aim to fight blemishes, give your complexion enough hydration and revitalise it. Especially the Dead Sea Mud, the main ingredient, is supposed to actively pull toxins out of your skin while the Vitamin Pro 5b is there for pulling water out of the air to give you a look of instant refreshment.
I find it sounds really interesting, as I never heard of a mask that pulls something from your surrounding in advance for your skin!
When I opened the tub I was firstly suprised by the strong scent! To me it smelled like modelling clay and so I was scared that it´s not bearable to have it under my nose for 10 minutes straight. I was luckily wrong as the smell goes away completely once you´ve put it on your skin. Then I also thought the mask would be really heavy and creamy, like the Origins Charcoal Mask, but it´s nothing like that. The formular is really wet but not watery, like it´s a bit thicker than a moisturizer. When I applied it, it felt sooo comfortable and after a while I forgot that I even got it on.
On the product itself it stays that the mask doesn´t dry and stays wet, but I do find tha after a while it gets stiffer, but not weird at all, like you´re still able to move your face underneath, but you can also feel that something has happened to your skin.
To get it off without any problems, I have used a warm wash cloth.
Then after it was off I was left with soft, moisturized skin. Absolutely amazing, as I have definitely felt a difference. This product also promises an instant effect after the first use, I find the effect isn´t huge, but little blemishes have surely faded and my skin
wasn´t dehydrated anymore.
I would say the Fresher Me Mud Mask is worth a try, if you have dry skin with a few little blemishes like mine and could need something to treat yourself to :)

Mascara has always been an up and down topic for me, simply because of the versatile offer on both the high street and high end side.
I´ve tried myself through many, never really knowing what embraced my eyes and my face the best. More volume? Long lashes? I was completely clueless and so had to give out quite a lot of money and a lot of mascara tubes landed in the back of my makeup drawer.
Well, until I´ve stumbled across a video over on Facebook, where the girl was using the
L´Oreal Telescopic Mascara!
I can pretty confidently say, I have found the mascara of a life time.
I´ve never felt sooo good while wearing mascara than with this one!
I do have to say though, I have long lashes because I´ve been using RevitaLash for a long time now, but this L´Oreal Mascara just adds sooooo much more length on top of it, that my lashes reach my brows pretty easily.
The wand is pretty much straight and so doesn´t put any clumps on your lashes but rather concentrates to reach every single lash, even the small ones at the corner of your eyes.
I find putting the wand at the start of my lashes and just slowly blinking while pulling the brush up is the way to get the best finish.
This way you really get the full effect and I don´t have to use a lash curler, cause the mascara brush pushes my lashes pretty much up and they stay like that for literally the whole day!
This way you really get the full effect and I don´t have to use a lash curler, cause the mascara brush pushes my lashes pretty much up and they stay like that for literally the whole day!
After doing that for a few times my lashes are, as I already said, incredibly long, defined and beautifully seperated. It doesn´t dry immediately so you still have time to seperate lashes that might stick together without any problem.
I´ve used it with so many looks, like you could wear it naturally everyday or with a bit more and eyeliner on the evenings or with eyeshadow and I will promise you, you´ll notice a huge difference on the whole look in comparison with other mascaras.
Personally the Telescopic Mascara really opens my quite small eyes and honestly makes me look soooooo good!

For a price of about 9€ per bottle, it´s totally worth it and if it would be easier to get in Germany I would force everyone around me to try it, haha :)
With this mascara I will definitely ditch false lashes and I´m sure it will stay in my daily makeup routine for a very long time! Xx

What is your favourite Mascara?
No matter how lazy I am in the morning, doing my brows is a fixed step in my morning routine, it´s making me feel more put together
It´s also a step that I really like doing, as it instantly changes my whole appearance and is just a nice relaxed start into a hectic day, especially if you have a brow pencil like the
Smashbox Brow Tech To-Go
It is by very far, my absolute favourite brow product ever!
Let´s start with the actual brow pencil.
The pencil is available in two different shades, taupe and brunette, I´ve gone for brunette even though my hair is dark blonde/light brown.
The shade taupe has a cold undertone to it, so I feel like it might work for people with blonde hair, on the other hand has brunette a warm undertone, which works suprisingly good with my hair and also helps me warm up my pale skin a bit.
The pencil is in the shape of a triangle, making it good to to use on both, the wider front of your brows, and the tail more precise.
The texture is really creamy and highly pigmented, you should be careful to not store it in a place where the sun will shine most of the time, I´m talking from my own bad experience now, the pencil will get really soft and it´s then hard to control how much colour you want to put on your brows. If the pencil is it normal condition though, it´s absolutely lovely to use, with a light-hand you can get a really natural but defined finish or if you want to go bolder on a night-out you can easily do that aswell.
It´s waterproof, normally I don´t like waterproof products for my brows, as I find it so hard to remove, but this product can easily be taken off with your everyday makeup remover!
For the other side of the pencil, there is a fixing gel included, together with a small brush. If I´m being honest I don´t use this side every often, as I find the pencil itself makes your brows already a bit stiffer and is enough for me, to keep my brows in place.
I have of course tried it before anyway, and I find you have to be careful with this gel as once it dries, it can make your brow hair really hard, but if you´re careful it is quite good, not the best fixing gel I have tried, but still good.
With a price of 25€ it definitely is more on the pricier side, but more than worth it!
One pencil lasts me a good 5 months, and I´m using it everyday.
Have you tried this product? Do you like it? What is your favourite brow product?
Yesterday I have arrived back home from a short trip to London, and of course I couldn´t leave without treating myself to something from Charlotte Tillbury.
The minute I stepped into the shop at Westfield I knew I had to go straight to the Lip section, otherwise my money would be completely gone. I was really close to giving into the Dolce Vita Eyeshadow Quad but my mind was set on buying only a lip product, haha.
I actually wanted to get the Lipstick version of Pillow Talk, but since that one was sold out I went for the Lip Cheat version.
Before trying it out for the first time this morning, I thought I could never wear this lipliner on it´s own, simply because I didn´t like what other lipliner feels like when you apply them to your whole lip.
This one is completely different though, it does start off as being sticky but after a short while, this feeling goes away and you can barely feel it on your lips anymore, which I really like.
The texture is more on the waxy side, which makes it glide on really smoothly and with a lot of pigmentation after the first application, meaning you can easily reapply it on the go. With that it already saved itself a place in my work bag, haha.
It certainly lives up to it name as a Lip Cheat. My lips often have dry patches and this lip liner kinda erases them a bit, making my lips look soft, yet still natural.
The colour is an absolute dream for every nude lover.
Pillow Talk is a kinda dusty rose shade with a lovely pink undertone, so it basically goes with any look. I´m head over heels in love with the colour and I´m so glad I listened to basically every other Beauty Blogger and went for Pillow Talk as the first shade I tried from the lip product shade range.
Have you tried the Pillow Talk Lip Cheat or Lipstick? Or any other Charlotte Tillbury product?
I believe every girls dream is to have a lot of long fluttery voluminous lashes.
Sadly not everyone is blessed to have them, but lots of brands bring out lash serums that promises exactly that. I haven´t tried any before, because most of the times they are really expensive and I was not ready to try it out myself before I saw it working out on someone else.
This palette could only be described as love at first sight. The moment I saw it I knew I had to get it, the only problem at this point was, it only being available to buy through the American Sephora website, if you have tried your luck to get anything shipped over from there you´ll know that most of the time the costs for shipping and taxes are even more than the price of the product(s) itself.
This time the lovely Beth from Polished Couture was kindly enough to guest post on my blog while I´m away in the sun :)
I really hope you enjoy reading this post and as always check out her social media and blog below! Xx
Could this be the easiest Liner I've tried? Lancome's new release from the Grandiose collection has us all 'flicking'...
This little gem arrived in my post about a month ago, I had no idea what I was receiving but it was such a surprise to see their newest eyeliner. With smudge-proof and long wear abilities, I was intrigued to see how this would match up with other liners on the market.
Not gonna lie, it was years ago since the last time I'd used liquid eyeliner. I just find them very temperamental and always opt for more gel (Benefit) or felt (S&G) liner for an easy application. Liquid liners tend to take longer to dry, easily smudge and don't seem to give the desired winged effect. However...
The Lancome Grandiose Liner has an innovative pivot liner and ibendable wand, this is such a clever product! The liner is flexible and bends to different angles and allows you to create a line right to the root. With the matte finish, it dries really quick and lasts ALL day and I mean alllll day.
Some liners you need to touch up through the day to keep it black but this 01 - Noir Mirifique shade is perfect.
As you can see, this liner gives the perfect precise eyeline with the thin tip. The matte finish gives a highly pigmented formula but there is a little downfall to this magnificent product.
For £23 you only get a little amount of product and after a months use, I'm finding myself dipping into the pot more to get the liquid. Just like high-end mascaras, this product seems to dry up pretty quick. It's still giving the same finished look from the first application to say 10 applications later, but in terms of long-lasting - you may find you'd have to purchase more of this than other liners.
Hands up, it's definitely one of the best liners I've tried to date and I've found it one of the easiest too. Would I purchase this again? Maybe as a splurge, but next time use this on more special occasions rather than a daily wear liner - it would run out too quick and that's just expensive.
Thank you Laura for letting guest post while your away!
Have you tried this liner? Would you?
