Eyeshadow Palettes Round-Up
If you ask me, eyeshadow palettes are one of the best inventions that have ever been made. You simply get a huge selection of different eyeshadow shades, finishes, textures, etc. put into one handy little package.
I´m pretty sure there is an eyeshadow palette for every single person, another reason why I love them, their enormous versatile! I don´t want to ramble too much now though but rather show you the eyeshadow palettes that I hoard in my collection...

Catrice Absolute Nude (5€)

I´ll just start off with the cheapest and smallest palette I own.
It´s a drugstore one that holds 6 nude/brown shades, all with a bit off glitter and just the right amount of pigmentation, when you´re just starting to experiment with makeup. It was actually my very first eyeshadow product and I still love it! The texture of them is pretty soft, but buildable. You can wear them really natural on a daily basis or go smokier for a night time look.

NYX Love in Paris in "Merci Beaucoup" (8€)

This is honestly the ultimate autumn eyeshadow palette! Like look at those shades, a beautiful compilation of earth toned shades. I haven´t used this palette in ages, but I definitely need to do again, by the look of it now... The pigmentation is again quite fair, but totally alright, if you look at the fact that it´s a drugstore product. You get 9 gorgeous shades and so I definitely need to start experimenting with it again.

Urban Decay Naked 2 (50€)

If this palette isn´t the absolute dream for every nude lover, I don´t know what is.
This one is the palette I always seem to go back to, as it´s so versatile. I like to use it in the winter as a more bronzed darker eyelook or even in the summer with just a bit of shimmer on my eyelid. I absolutely love that this palette offers a bit of everything, matte, shimmer, nude, rosé, dark, and even a green eyeshadow shade, all highly pigmented and ultra soft, it´s just amazing!
It´s also the one palette I always seem to take with me on holidays as you can close it securely, you have a huge mirror in it, a really good brush and it´s so handy that you can just squeeze it to the side of your suitcase.
If you don´t own any of the Naked Palettes, you are totally missing out!

Illamasqua Eyeshadow Quad

I don´t know the actual name of this palette, as it was a special edition one that I got from my Look Fantastic Advent Calendar, but I was definitely really excited to finally be able to try something form Illamasqua.
This palette already looks really luxurious from the packaging, a simple handy black case, with a small mirror inside and a quad of small eyeshadows.
I find the shades remind me again of autumn/winter, as they are really dark earth toned, and kinda resemble a forest, with the bit of green and red.
The shades are not really my alley, apart from the white/beige shade as beige or that gorgeous brown shade. I definitely have to try around to work with the green, but we´ll see how far I can go with the red shade, haha.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance (40€)

The best for the last. This palette is loved by literally everyone I know.
The perfection starts at the packaging, a velvety lilac thin top and a plastic very light, bottom makes the palette really handy. But then we get to the inside of the most gorgeous palette that exists! The shades are a mixture of nude shade and bright pink, orange shades. I was always scared to use colourful eyeshadows but this palette makes experimenting so much fun, even though the shadows are highly pigmented, so you definitely need to be careful, but once you get the hang of it, it´s so much fun!
I love to use the matte shades in the crease and the glitter shades on my lid, I´m really impressed by how much glitter actually gets transfered onto your lid.

How many eyeshadow palettes do you own? What are your favourites? And which ones do you want to get next?

Makeup Favourites 2016
It´s officialy the end of 2016 since about 14 hours now.
Looking back at it, I (re)discovered some absolutely amazing makeup products that I will probably use throughout 2017 aswell.
It was hard to narrow my complete collection down, but I´ve done it and can say that these makeup products kept me good looking the whole year :)
I´m excited to see what I will discover in the new year but for now these were my favourite of 2016...

Hello everyone!
My name is Molly and I run a little blog called Molly Daydreams.
Today I'm going to be guest posting and talking you through a few of the hottest products for Summer 2016.

Prom Makeup 1
It was prom night on Saturday, eeeeeek. I´ve been waiting for that night for soo long.
Of course I put a lot of thoughts in my makeup.
It shouldn´t look too cakey but natural, should last the whole night and especially through all the eating and drinking that was sure to happen that night.
The only solution was to use the best of the best, which are these lovely products.

The Primer Tag Flatlay 1
Primer is a huge topic in my eyes. At this moment there are sooo many on the market, all from different price ranges and all with a different aim.
Some promise to hide your pores, some give you a matte or glowy finish and some are just there to make your base products stick to your face all day.

Night-Out Proof Makeup Look
Night-Out Proof Makeup Look 1
Night-Out Proof Makeup Look 2
Another week is over and we can all now concentrate on the probably most important question that pops up every Friday and/or Saturday night, where is the next big party and how can I look the best?
Going out or especially going to a club can get really sweaty, lots of people in the same room and dancing like you don´t care (be honest, we all do) is never a good combo, however for some weird reason people want to take pictures when you already feel like your make up is gone or doesn´t look picture worthy anymore and your forehead could be used as a reflector, am I right?
My holiday is starting tomorrow and just like every year the same questions comes up, What makeup am I going to take with me?
On the picture above are obviously not every product I´m going to take with me, much to the incomprehension of my mum.
I only took my favourite, or better said, the things that I´m the most excited about to show you all and maybe give you some inspiration on what you can include in your holiday makeup bag.
The Body Shop All-In-One Tinted BB Cream: This will be my foundation replacement during the summer time. It has light coverages, suits every skin tone, which is perfect for tannend skin, and it adds the loveliest glow to my nose and cheek bones. A full review will be up in the following days.
Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof Mascara: I´ve heard so much good things about this mascara and when else is the perfect time to test a waterproof mascara then on holidays, where it will be still 20 degree in the evening? Right, never!
KIKO Radiant Touch Cream Highlighter: This champagner toned shaded highlighter which based on the description and my own experience is lightly blendable, so if I have to touch it up throughout the evening it will be fast and easy!
Max Factor Pastel Compact Blush in "Seductive Pink": Again, I´ve heard a lot of good reviews about this blush and it´s the dupe version of the infamous hourglass blushes. It´s highly pigmented, I can use it on my pale or later on tannend skin and it even highlights my cheek bones a tiny bit.
The Body Shop Honey Bronzer in 03: I´ve been on the hunt for a nice, not orangey bronzer, and I think I´ve found the one. It will hopefully help me to look even more bronzed up. We´ll see if it holds what I´m hoping for.
Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in "185 Plushest Pink": This year I wanted to be a bit more adventurous with lipsticks, so I bought this popping pink one and not only is the colour lovely but it also tastes and smells sooooo good, almost fruity/flowery, I feel like.
Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette: This probably has to be one of my absolute favourite eyeshadow palette. It has everything you could need, from lighter girly shades to darker smokey shades. I won´t need to take a lot of other product with me, not even a mirror! :)

What product will find its way in your makeup bag for the next upcoming holidays in the sun?

Spring is finally completely here! It´s getting warmer and warmer, and that also means that we can say goodbye to the heavy and dark eyeshadows and say a whole heartly hello again to the light, shimmery nudey eyeshadows that don´t need a lot of touch up throughout the day! That way you can enjoy a nicely warm spring day in the sun without having to worry about looking like a racoon!
I have put together my 3 personal favourite eyemakeups that go from a matte everyday look to a smokey look for the evening!
Everything kept in pinky/nudey shade of course ;)

The first look is a really simple and matte one that you can wear everyday!

Steps:
1. Brow Bone (optional): Mixture of matte white from the NYX palette and "Foxy" from the Naked 2.
2.Inner Corner: Mixture of the same matte white shade and "Bootycall"
3.Crease & Lid: Mixture of the glittery champagne shade and "Tease"
4.Lower Lash Line: Mixture of the same glittery champagne shade and the matte brown shade
5.Winged Eyeliner (optional)

This is a eyemakeup that you can whether wear everyday but also in the evening :) (and please excuse this wiggly eyeliner)
I used: Astor Eyeshadow Stick in 120 Chic Nude; MAC "All That Glitters"; KIKO "139 Pearly Salmon" Eyeshadow; L´Oreal Super Liner

Steps:
1.Base & Crease: Astor Eyeshadow Stick in 120 Chic Nude, blended out in the crease with a huge fluffy brush
2.Lid & Inner Corner: Firstly MAC "All That Glitters" and then over that KIKO "139 Pearly Salmon" eyeshadow
3. Winged Eyeliner (optional)

The last look is a pinky smokey look, that could be used for evening occasions
I used: Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

Steps:
1.Crease: Tease and then blended out to the outer corner, again with a big fluffy brush
2.Lid: YDK
3.Inner & Outer Corner: In both corners Chopper
4. Eyeliner (optional)

Since the start of December I have been writing everything down that I would like to get, whether as a present for christmas, birthday, etc. from my loved ones or to just treat myself and since Easter is coming up aswell I took this as a great opportunity to share my very own ultimate wishlist. This is going to be a veery long post, so get yourself a nice cup of tea, get comfortable and be prepared for a lot of rambling :)
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick, there has been a big hype in the blogger world about this product, I think simply because you get a highlighter and blush all in once with a rich pigmentation (perfect for upcoming spring) in a very simple but still luxiouris packaging and to be honest could there be anything better? I don´t think so.
Bobbi Brown Cleansing Oil, I actually can´t really remember why I wanted to get this but I heard some really good things about this product and even on the website it says it helps to dissolve surface impurities and makeup without leaving skin feeling tight or dry, sounds good to me :)
Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual, the Queen herself has written a book about her 25+ years of makeup artist experience, and even on how to become a makeup artist yourself. This book is also filled with over 200 full-colour photos, step-by-step instructions, tutorials on how to apply your makeup in less than 10 minutes, etc.
MAC Creme Cup Lipstick, I´m on the hunt for the perfect everyday nude lipstick for a while now and this is meant to be the lipstick that sticks up to all my expectations. It is a creme sheen lipstick, so it´s also really creamy, which I love :)
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Highlighter in Soft and Gentle, again there has been a huge hype about this product, it has been seen on so many celebritys and can be found in almost every bloggers dressing table. It is a nice peachy tone with a hint of golden shimmer in it. This highlighter is meant to give you a nice glowy finish and thus perfect for spring and summer :)
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, I have been wanting this palette for sooooo long now, but just couldn´t find the perfect moment to actually buy it, it has always been out of stock and when it was back again, I didn´t have any money left :( Apart from that, this palette is the perfect match of girly, matte, glittery, pinky, nudey shades. I already own the Naked 2 and so I know that I will love the pigmentation!
Urban Decay All-Nighter Setting Spray, this is what the most recent hype is about, it´s a must-have for everyone who is too lazy or simply too busy to retouch your makeup every few hours. It is said to be ultra-light and to has a temperature control technique.
Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette, I have seen so many people own and use this palette, it´s insane! For me this palette is a good mixture between natural everyday colours and extraordinary colours to experiment with and also matte and glittery colours. Apparently it´s smells like chocolate, so this is a sweet bonus that this palette has :)
Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette, this palette has won my heart! It just looks so girly and it seems like you could only use shades from this palette, mix them together and you´re good to go.Therefore this would be something for when I´m traveling and don´t want to pack all kinds of different eyeshadows.
Makeup Revolution Golden Sugar Blush Palette, I have laid my eyes on this palette for quite some time now. It just has a good match of all different kinds of blush shades and could maybe be also used for contouring and highlighting.
Makeup Revolution 100 Eyeshadow Palette, just recently I came up with the idea that I really need a palette that also contains colours that I normally wouldn´t go for, and this palette is just what I´ve been searching for! It´s amazing for the price and I´ve heard the pigmentation is really good aswell :)
YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat, this is what I imagine as pure luxus put in a bottle. This foundation simply has something that tells me to buy and love it. I have seen some youtubers use this foundation and the finish is in my eyes simply amazing. It´s quite pricy so I´m still waiting for "that" moment to buy it.
NYX Powder Blush in Taupe, this is THE powder all contouring fans have been waiting for. The colour is simply perfect for a good contour, because it doesn´t has a orange undertone that will make you look like a fool if you have pale skin like me, you can get it for an reasonable price and you can build it up aswell if you don´t want to go for a heavy contour on some days!
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, this concealer is probably one of those concealer that 98% of the blogger world loves and raves about. It has high coverage and can be used as a highlighter aswell. Again this is a very pricy product and not availabe in Germany so I hope I get a opportunity to get my hands on this little dream soon.
Tom Ford Velvet Orchid, a long time ago I had a sample of this perfume, and the second I applied this I was head over heels with it. For me it kinda smells "rich" like you can smell that this perfume was very expensive. I´m one of those people who just loves to have a signature smell and THIS is exactly what I want to smell like for the rest of my life. Though it´s probably not everyone´s first choice, because the smell is very strong but in my opinion this is a complete dream poured into a little luxurious bottle.
Zoeva 227 Soft Definer Brush, I can never have enough eyemakeup brushes, for a very simple reason: once you dip a brush into one colour you can only use it for this or similar shades! and since this brush is also said to be a dupe for the infamous MAC 217 brush, I decided that I just need it!
Real Techniques 301 Flat Contour Brush, since RT have brought out their long awaited bold metal collection, this is the brush that I have heard the most positive things about. I personally have never seen a brush like this before and together with the NYX taupe blush, I can imagine with the right technique it can definitely help you to get that flawless contour.
Apple iPhone 6+, I know that this phone is like really huge and I can already forget to just put it in my jeans pockets or to use it with one hand, but this phone has something on it that I just love so much. I´m even at this point where I wouldn´t even care what it looks like to call someone in public and it being looked like I use a mini ipad for that. If I decided in the end to really get this phone then it would definitely have to be the golden version of it for me :)

Puuh, this was a hella long post! I congrat you if you read it completely, haha :)
What is on your wishlist this year? Is there something from my list that you own and can give a little review about? :)
