I´ve been stuck on my nude tones from the summer time for a very long time now, but as the last warmer days and even Halloween did pass now, I guess it´s time to atleast update my lipstick choices to some darker earth tones. I guess the typical autumn lipstick shade is still a berry tone, but to be honest I´m not really feeling it anymore, I definitely prefer a nice settled brown tone or a red is also totally fine. That´s what my choice are inspired by, and I think some of you might like these shades aswell:
Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Always Red
Let´s start with the brightest lipstick choice. It´s my very first liquid lipstick from Sephora and I´m loving it! It´s highly pigmented, feels very comfortable on my lips and the colour is pretty much the same as it looks in the tube - a nice bright red. It slides on really easily and stays in place so well, like I went out clubbing with it and it nearly didn´t budge at all. Even with being quite pale during the winter months, this shade still suits me quite well and isn´t too much or makes me look even more pale. What I also find really good and important is that it´s really moisturizing and the first layer of it is thick enough to cover dry lips, but it doesn´t feel to heavy on your lips, actually you barely notice having anything on.
Sephora #LIPSTORIES in Labyrinth City
When I first opened this lipstick I was a bit suprised by how deep red it looks, it even put me off a bit first cause I thought it didn´t suit me, but when I swatched it I completely changed my mind. It´s a stunning purple-y brown shade that can even be worn everyday. For a lipstick it´s unbelievably high pigmented, very creamy and dries to nice matte finish. Again this is also my first lipstick from Sephora and honestly I´m so pleased by the quality of both of these lip products. When it´s dried down to it´s matte finish, it doesn´t make your lips look nor feel dried out but rather very moisturized,. I do have to say, the packaging isn´t the most luxury one, but still quite cute. All in one it´s a big hit for me.Illamasqua Lava Lipstick in Vixen
The most natural red lipstick is definitely this one. As you can see its very unique and beautiful design has different shades of red in it, so after applying the lipstick it gives you a nice light red/rose semi-matte finish. I do have to say though, it does need a few more layers to get a strong pigmentation and the lipstick itself feels a bit heavier than the other lip products. I still really enjoy using it, cause it´s just a gorgeous shade and it stays on pretty well, and only for the design it´s something nice to have in your makeup bag. I´ve also used this on Halloween on my eyes, so if you ever need a base for a more red-toned eyeshadow look, this is the one for you, haha.
What is your favourite lipstick shade for Autumn and Winter?

Last Thursday Sephora has opened its first shop in Germany, and I couldn´t be happier that they decided to do so in Munich!
It´s weird to think than not a very long time ago we barely had any bigger american brands available, and now we got the full selection of amazing brands such as Too Faced, Kat von D, MUFE, etc. So far I didn´t have a chance to pop in the store but next Saturday it´s time for me to explore the beauty of Sephora. Of course I´ve put together a "small" wishlist that I´ll slowly work through without doing much damage to my bank balance (hopefully).
I absolutely love foundations, primers, concealer, powder, etc. basically everything base products. If your base is not made perfect, you won´t really be happy with how the rest of your makeup looks and so I like to experiment around with different finishes, textures, and effects.
For primers I have chosen the Becca Backlight Primer after getting it recommended from Lily (pintsizedbeauty), it´s supposed to give you a really lovely glow and I absolutely love that! Then also the Marc Jacobs Under(cover) Perfecting Primer, it smells like coconut and smoothes & hydrates your skin, perfect! And for last I also want the Too Faced Hangover Primer, simply because I only heard good things about it, haha.
For Foundation and Concealer I chose the Kat von D Lock-It Foundation and Concealer, they´re both full coverage and as much as I love light bases, sometimes a full coverage base is all I want and from what I have seen so far, those two products are unbelievable pigmented! I want to have the MUFE HD Foundation, purely out of curiousity if it´s really so finely produced that you look airbrushed even on pictures.
For setting I´ve been on the hunt for a good loose powder and so I think the Kat von D Lock-It Setting Powder, sounds with its Micro-Blurring Technology really lovely. I absolutey love my NYX Setting Spray, but since the Too Faced Hangover Primer is already so loved, I think the Hangover Setting Spray is definitely worth a try aswell!
Who doesn´t love a good highlighter? I don´t think I have to say a lot about these picks in my wishlist as they all have the same purposes, giving my skin a lovely natural glow!
The Huda Beauty 3D Highlighter Palette, has been all over Instagram since it´s release and I loooove how it looks! You get four completely different highlighters to decide from.
I´m not too sure about the Marc Jacobs Glow Stick, but I´ll definitely swatch it in store and decide from there, what makes it curious for me is it shape as I think it´s really quick to apply it. I´ve been wanting to get the Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Peach Highligher Palette, since I was in London but it wasn´t available so now no one can stop me, haha!
Almost everyone owns one of the BECCA Shimmering Highlighters, they are straight off perfect and I want one, haha.
Of course I couldn´t miss out on the lip section, the four I have choosen have again been on my Instagram feed for ages now and I love how they all look, highly pigmented, long staying power and a huge colour selection. I´m not too sure which colours I´ll get but there´s enough space on the back of my end to swatch quite a few, haha.
The Too Faced Melted Lipstick, Kat von D Everlasting Lipstick & Huda Beauty Matte Lipsticks are all matte liquid lipsticks and that kind of lip product are my favourites so I definitely need them! The Too Faced Creamy Peach Oil Lipgloss is definitely a nice addition to my collection for the summer time, as I don´t own a lot of (peach smelling) lipgloss.
Now, of course I can´t miss out on new beauty tools aswell. I´ve been on the hunt for blotting paper for a long time now and I hope this one, from the Sephora Collection is good! Then what really caught my attention was the Makeup Eraser, it´s a towel that is supposed to take your makeup off only with water! Like I really want to see if it works cause I imagine it would be really good for your skin in terms of dehydration from certain makeup removers. Also I´m in need of a brush for Highlighter and the Too Faced Mr. Right Brush, seems just perfect for that. It looks really cute and also has the right shape for highlighter application. For the last product on my wishlist I chose this pair of false lashes from Huda Beauty, their Mink Lashes to be exact I know I said in my Monday´s post I would ditch false lashes, but this pair looks to die for! The preview on their packaging looks absolutely gorgeous and I can only image how stunning they would look when used on a full makeup look!
What products are on your Sephora Wishlist?
To really make a look perfect, you do not only need makeup that works for you and a bit of skill, but also the right tools to apply your makeup with and add perfection wherever it is needed.
There are probably over hundred of different tools and brushes on the market but the following 4 really have caught my eyes and really makes doing my makeup a lot more fun.
Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Palette
Cleaning your brushes is probably the most annoying part ever! It needs to be done though, in order to keep your brushes in a good condition and also your skin will benefit from that! This Brush Cleansing Palette from Real Techniques makes this task atleast a bit better and also really fast done! It is made out of silicone and has a band on the backside to slip your hand through and have a good hold on the palette.
Inside the palette are three different surfaces, I pretty much put a bit of water into the palette, a drop of baby shampoo and swirl my brushes over all 3 surfaces.
This way I´m sure every brush gets a deep clean.
Eyebrow Spool Brush
You can´t really start doing your brows before brushing them through.
I think most of us use this tool everyday and we forget how "important" it is in our everyday makeup routine and so I really had to mention it in this post.
I brush mine downwards fill them in, brush upward fill them in, and after I´m completely done I also brush them in the right direction.
If I have a bad brow day, this tool is basically the last hope I have to make them atleast a bit presentable, haha.
Sephora Tweezer
As much as I love getting my brows done professionaly, I simply don´t have the money and time to head there every 2 weeks when the hair around my brows starts to grow again.
So I have to pluck them as good as possible myself and that can be quite hard if the lighting isn´t good enough to make every little hair visible. Well with this tweezer this problem solved itself. It has a little light in it which you can switch on and point directly onto the hairs you need to pluck.
One of the best inventions by far!
Real Techniques Core Collection
I have quite a huge brush collection, but this brush collection is by far the most used one I own. They are just amazing, so soft, you can use all four brushes for various purposes and they´re also really quick and easy to clean in case you need to switch the product you want to use it for. I use the Buffer Brush for blending in foundation, concealer and correcting the amount of blush or bronzer I´ve put on. The Contour Brush is being used to blend in concealer, set it, and apply highlighter. And lastly I use Pointed Foundation Brush and Detailer Brush for correcting any fall-outs or places where my foundation has moved.
Which Beauty Tools do you use the most?
Shop the Post:
At the beginning of August I made a little trip to Poland to visit my family and of course to do some shopping. The shop I was the most excited about was Sephora, it was my very first time in there so I was very excited and literally couldn´t control myself, how you can see especially at the Benefit counter.
I didn´t own that many Benefit products before, simply because I thought they were quite expensive, but Benefit products are great to give you that natural, healthy look. The product themselves, are quite simple but can be mixed together to be more dramatic, so I thought I should give some products finally a try.
The first product I went for, is Sun Beam a golden bronze liquid highlighter. I was quite excited about this one, since I wanted to join the "strobbing party" and thought this highlighter will be the one to give me the perfect cheekbone highlight. It´s really easy to use, you simply have to dot it along your cheek & browbone and blend it towards your hairline.
I really like this highlighter, it gives a lovely golden glow and really suits my pale skin tone! I do still have to find a good tool to blend it properly.

and then I got a sample of the They´re Real Push Up Liner . I´m really glad I only got a sample of this one since it really was a dissapointment for me. I can´t work with this eyeliner, I don´t know if I´m just doing it wrong or it´s dried out. The way I use it is, I twist the bottom to get the gel formula out and then slide it along my lashline but nothing get´s onto my lid. I´m really sad since this seemed to be loved by so many people!
Help would be much appreciated in the comments, haha :)

I saved the best products for the end. Oh my god the Roller Lash Mascara, probably the most raved about release Benefit has ever done, and I can totally understand what´s it all about! It gives me that dramatic but still natural looking lashes. My eyelashes look like they go up to my brows, are voluminous at the roots and it´s so easy to take off again, everything that I was searching for in a mascara. Definitely worth the money.
Do you own any Benefit products that you really love? Or any that were also a dissapointment for you?
