The beach is just one of the best places on earth, and I´m so sad that my one week holiday is nearly over and I have to go back home again. During this week I honestly always took the same things with me, some things for entertaiment, some things for protection from the sun and some things just as accessorize cause we can´t look bad at the beach right? haha. I thought I would leave the standard things such as suncream away from this post and only show you the following essentials...
ENTERTAIMENT...
to keep me entertained all I need is my phone, my headphones and my camera.
I have to be honest and say I didn´t take a book with me, simply because I´m probably one of the laziest people when it comes to reading, I just don´t like it and so I would rather lay back and listen to some good music, play some games or just scroll through social media. Of course that´s not everything I´m gonna do, but I´m also gonna walk around the beach and try to take some nice shots, which I´ll be sharing with you all when I get back home next week, so be excited for them... :)
...& OTHER THINGS
well I practically everything else I need is a pretty pair of sandals, which I can quickly get out of, to jump into the water haha. The ones above were from Vero Moda, and are sooo comfortable! I´ve been on the hunt for a new pair of pretty sandals for a while now and these ones are just perfect and absolutely gorgeous (if I might say so about my own things, haha).
Continuing being stylish, I also took my silver sunglasses with me. My mum bought them for me at a little shop in Crete and I love them, an absolute bargain for only 10€!
It was absolutely hot the whole week, so to get as much colder air as possible I took this fan with me, which I got in my last holiday in Croatia.
When I get up to get some drinks or food I prefer to cover myself up, but instead of always putting my clothes back on, I have this white tunic from Primark with me. Quick to put on, covers me a bit from the sun and makes me feel a lot more comfortable.
Speaking of covering from the sun, to cover my head and hair from the heat, I´ve got a black cap from Nike. It can look soo cool and just suits me better than a straw hat, haha.
A lot of people seem to forget about the fact that your lips can get sunburned aswell, and since I don´t want to be in such pain I´ve got this little sun lip balm from a german drugstore. It stays on for so long, is nearly invisible and keeps my lips very hydrated.
When you go to the beach, what things do you definitely need to take with you?

Before I started my apprenticeship I was worried that I had to change my style completely. I always dressed more casual, black jeans, sweaters, tshirts and sneakers, just the basic clothes you wear to school everyday. For work, and especially for the office I had to switch to wearing blouses, blazers, chic trousers and more presentable shoes.
I somehow managed to find a way too combine both styles, which also makes shopping and deciding on an Outfit in the morning a lot of fun!
In this post I´m gonna share with you some shops that sell a good combination of casual workwear for a reasonable price...
Reserved
My absolute favourite shop for workwear is Reserved. They have literally everything you could possibly need. Nice dresses, blazers in nearly every suitable colour, really comfortable shoes, nice blouses and skirts, but also casual shirts you could style up. I often stop by and just have a stroll through it and most of the times I find something I really like, even if it´s just a new pair of shoes or a scarf.
Low/middle prices for really nice quality.
Zara
Zara is kinda a love/hate shop for me. Sometimes they have the most beautiful things and sometimes I´m out of the shop in less than 5 minutes. I like to get my black thicker leggings, coats, suit pants and also blouses from there, everything else is more suitable for wearing in my free time or on holidays. What they are absolutely fab at though, are their bags! They have them in lovely colours and practically every size and so I do find myself buying bags that I can either wear to work or at the weekend.
TopShop
Because of their quite expensive stuff, I don´t really get a lot from TopShop, but when I decided to treat myself to a new piece I often find myself heading straight to their trouser section. their cigarette trousers are the absolute bomb! So comfortable, yet fit really tight and nicely. Apart from cigarette trousers I also like their patterned Leigh Jeans, I own one pair so far and I´m really impressed with how good the pattern stays on even though I have washed them several times already. I also own a pair of shoes and a lovely bag from there which I can both wear to work or on a casual day out.
ASOS
No matter which style you aim for, ASOS has literally everything! I don´t think I have to say much about it other than, get comfortable, stroll through their endless pages of gorgeous clothes and be ready to spend a small fortune by the end of the day haha :)
Primark
I don´t have a Primark anywhere nearby, so when I get the chance to go to one I take a bit of everything with me. My favourite things to get from Primark are blouses, dresses, bags, shoes, accessoires and tops in general. As we all know Primark is known for their very low prices and still I´m so impressed by how good the quality is! I guess at some point I´m really lucky there´s no Primark near me as I would probably spend most of my money there, haha :)
MissSelfridge
I sadly don´t own anything from MissSelfridge so far, but from what I´ve seen online and on Instagram it seems they have a wide range of chic feminine clothes, exactly my style.
When I go to London in April I´ll definitely drop by and treat myself to a nice few clothes!
Where do you get your workwear from?
Unbelievable how fast the Christmas time has passed.
It feels like yesterday, when all the christmas campaigns started being shown on TV, and we baked cookies at home.
Christmas times means also loooots of presents, whether giving or recieving.
And now I´m really excited to see what everyone got.
I was very pleased with mine, and am absolutely grateful for the few things that I got :) Leave the links to your posts or videos in the comment.
A Curling Wand (36€)
Even though we already owned a curling wand that worked pretty much okay, I wanted to have a new one, one that got me a few more curl options than just one boring one.
So I wished for that one from Amazon, I wasn´t expecting a lot from it other than it was good enough to make good curls.
I´m suprised by it though, it comes with 5(!) different wands, 32mm, 25mm, 20mm, 19mm and 9 mm, a heat protection glove and the curling iron itself that includes 2 heat stages. I believe the one the first stage it heats up to 180 degree and on the second stage it heats up to 210 degree.
So far I´ve only tried the 32mm wand and I absolutely loved how my hair looked, it was really easy to use and with the help of the glove I was done within 30 minutes (that´s pretty fast if you have thick hair like me, haha)
A CLUSE Leather Watch (89€)
I wanted to have another more casual watch besides my golden Michael Kors watch that I got last christmas.
I found my perfect casual watch on the Cluse website, I haven´t heard much about this brand before, besides seeing that one of my best friends got one for her birthday.
While I was searching online shops through for a watch that I would like, I remembered this brand and as soon as I looked through the first site of their online shop I knew I wanted my new accessorize to be from here.
Now that I got it, I´m really happy with it, the leather band adjusts to my wrist so it doesn´t hurt my skin, it´s really light and just looks really lovely when wearing it :)
A Small Hallhuber Bag (40€)
This bag wasn´t necessarily on my wishlist, but when I was shopping with my sister I saw it and really liked it, but how it is with mostly every piece that you don´t buy immediatly, you forget about it existence, haha.
A girl can never have enough bags though, and so I was really suprised but also really happy to find this little silvery bag wrapped up.
It fits to a lot of clothing pieces, looks super cute and so far I don´t own any silvery bags so that´s also a huge plus point.
It´s the perfect bag to wear if you don´t have to/want to take lots of stuff with you, it´s able to hold my phone, my keys and money, so perfect for a night out with the girls :)
A NYX Soft Matte LipCream in Prague (8€)
Do I really have to say a lot about this little present? If you´re a semi-permanent follower of my blog you know how much I adore the NYX Lip products.
With this more vibrant berry/pink shade my collection is growing even more, but let´s be honest, you really can´t have too many lipsticks.
That were all the main presents that I got, of course I also got some sweets and money.
Now it´s your turn, tell me what you got for Christmas in the comments.
I´m curious :)
Christmas is only about a month away so this means it´s time to jump into christmas shopping!
I find this is the hardes but also best part, like there are always so many lovely things to choose from that it is even harder to decide on THE perfect present, but when you have finally found the perfect present and see the smile of your loved ones when they are unwrapping them it´s just the best.
