Before I started my apprenticeship I was worried that I had to change my style completely. I always dressed more casual, black jeans, sweaters, tshirts and sneakers, just the basic clothes you wear to school everyday. For work, and especially for the office I had to switch to wearing blouses, blazers, chic trousers and more presentable shoes.
I somehow managed to find a way too combine both styles, which also makes shopping and deciding on an Outfit in the morning a lot of fun!
In this post I´m gonna share with you some shops that sell a good combination of casual workwear for a reasonable price...
Reserved
My absolute favourite shop for workwear is Reserved. They have literally everything you could possibly need. Nice dresses, blazers in nearly every suitable colour, really comfortable shoes, nice blouses and skirts, but also casual shirts you could style up. I often stop by and just have a stroll through it and most of the times I find something I really like, even if it´s just a new pair of shoes or a scarf.
Low/middle prices for really nice quality.
Zara
Zara is kinda a love/hate shop for me. Sometimes they have the most beautiful things and sometimes I´m out of the shop in less than 5 minutes. I like to get my black thicker leggings, coats, suit pants and also blouses from there, everything else is more suitable for wearing in my free time or on holidays. What they are absolutely fab at though, are their bags! They have them in lovely colours and practically every size and so I do find myself buying bags that I can either wear to work or at the weekend.
TopShop
Because of their quite expensive stuff, I don´t really get a lot from TopShop, but when I decided to treat myself to a new piece I often find myself heading straight to their trouser section. their cigarette trousers are the absolute bomb! So comfortable, yet fit really tight and nicely. Apart from cigarette trousers I also like their patterned Leigh Jeans, I own one pair so far and I´m really impressed with how good the pattern stays on even though I have washed them several times already. I also own a pair of shoes and a lovely bag from there which I can both wear to work or on a casual day out.
ASOS
No matter which style you aim for, ASOS has literally everything! I don´t think I have to say much about it other than, get comfortable, stroll through their endless pages of gorgeous clothes and be ready to spend a small fortune by the end of the day haha :)
Primark
I don´t have a Primark anywhere nearby, so when I get the chance to go to one I take a bit of everything with me. My favourite things to get from Primark are blouses, dresses, bags, shoes, accessoires and tops in general. As we all know Primark is known for their very low prices and still I´m so impressed by how good the quality is! I guess at some point I´m really lucky there´s no Primark near me as I would probably spend most of my money there, haha :)
MissSelfridge
I sadly don´t own anything from MissSelfridge so far, but from what I´ve seen online and on Instagram it seems they have a wide range of chic feminine clothes, exactly my style.
When I go to London in April I´ll definitely drop by and treat myself to a nice few clothes!
